In-person registration takes place at the school your child attends.  However, if you have students in multiple schools, you may do all of them at the same building. 

During Kindergarten RoundUp, your student was not registered. That event was to enroll your student into Southwest Dubois County School Corporation.  After the enrollment process, registration needs to be completed.  Registration is an annual event that will take place at the beginning of every school year.

Enrollment is the process of applying and claiming a seat for your student.

Registration is the paperwork (immunization records, birth certificate, etc.) and any additional next steps required by the school once the student is enrolled.
 

1. Log In to your PowerSchool account.
2. Go to Account Preferences
3. Click on the Student Tab
4. Click the blue Add button
5. Enter the student name exactly as you did when you registered
6. Enter Access ID provided to you (will be emailed to you by the school)
7. Enter Access Password provided to you (will be emailed to you by the school)
8. Choose Relationship
9. Click OK
10. Under the new student’s tab, click on Forms
11. Fill out each form and click Submit

2. Vaccination records
3. Proof of Address
4. If a student is not a new Kindergarten student, we will need the previous school attended to request transcripts.
5. Preferred method of transportation…bus rider or car rider

• Valid Driver's License
• Property Tax Receipt
• Posted Mail with name of applicant
• Utility Bill
• Lease Agreement or mortgage statement
• Insurance Card
• Voter Registration Card
• College Enrollment Papers
• Bank or credit card statement, insurance policy or bill
• Letter from your family doctor, a club like ALASI, YMCA, Dance Academy, etc.
   

The parent portal is an online portal accessible anywhere on the web that parents can log in to and see all of their children in one place, their grades, assignments, scores, attendance, schedules, and school bulletins for each school your children attend. The PowerSchool Parent Portal is designed to give parents access to information that may be important to them in an easy to access, consolidated format.
 

Yes, PowerSchool allows for multiple parent accounts to be created per child.  Therefore, both parents can have their own username and password that is linked with the Student's Access Key.

We strongly encourage ALL families to submit a Meal Application. 

These applications are used for more than determining eligibility for free and reduced-price meals. This includes:

• textbook assistance 

• families receiving money for groceries through P-EBT 

• before and after school academic and enrichment programs

• 21st Century Scholars 

• fee waivers for college applications

• fee waivers for SAT/ACT college admission tests, and 

• the percentage of our student population that is eligible for free/reduced meals has a direct effect on the amount of funding that our schools receive from the state and federal governments.

1. If more than one student is on your Parent PowerSchool Account, select the student tab in the upper left corner.
2. On the left side of the screen, click on forms.
3. Under the General Sections click on the first blue link.
4. When finished filling out the information on that link, click Submit.
5. It will take you to the next form that needs to be filled out.
6. Once you have finished all screens, you will see “Submitted” under the Status column.
7. You are finished!

You must have an email address to enroll your student in our schools. - Create your FREE Google Account

At the Student and Parent Sign In screen, enter your username, then click Forgot Username or Password.   Enter Parent Username and Parent Email Address.  An email will be sent to you.  Click on the blue link to reset your password.
